A WoW instance guide was very useful to me when I started to play this game after a one year absence. Also, since now there is a dual spec option for any class, make sure you have the right spec when a boss encounter is about to begin.
2. It’s important to know closely the tactics and strategies for every encounter within the instance your group is about to begin. If forget about one little detail or if you make the slightest mistake sometimes this can cost the raid quite a few wipes. Fortunately, the WoW instance guide I’ve been following has every boss encounter disected and explained.
3. Do not forget to bring on your consumables for the raid. Potions, flasks, foods and scrolls are a must for every raid. Buff your raid group and ask for buffs if the others forget to buff people up. If a raid is missing a few important buffs, this may cost the whole raid a lot of damage dealt, healing and all in all, effectiveness
4. Make sure that the raid leader invites a shaman. The Bloodlust or Heroism spell is very important for certain phases of a raid. Without it, at some encounters there are higher chances of failure.
5. Last but not least, this WoW instance guide has revealed to me how to avoid getting hit by strongest blows of every boss, and that way to be able to stay alive as much as possible durin an encounter. Even if I played a rogue, which are pretty squishy, I managed to give the deadly blow to some bosses when everyone else was dead.
